A method for transmitting multi-carrier enhanced dedicated channel data includes a first transmission step and a first reception step; the first transmission step comprises setting the uplink multiplex information of the uplink data frames in the enhanced dedicated channel as "null" when a node B only has enhanced dedicated channel cells of a single carrier frequency layer in the multi-carriers, and transmitting said uplink data frames of the enhanced dedicated channel to a service wireless network controller; the first reception step comprises that the service wireless network controller receives the uplink data frames of the enhanced dedicated channel transmitted by the node B of the sender of the enhanced dedicated channel cells, which only have a single carrier frequency layer in the multi-carriers, and distinguishes which one of the multi-carrier is used for receiving said uplink data frame of the enhanced dedicated channel based on the recorded carrier identification information which corresponds to the carrier frequency of the enhanced dedicated channel cells. The present invention enables the service wireless network controller to correctly distinguish between main carrier reception data and auxiliary carrier reception data.
