The stop has magnetic pole plates (1, 2) interconnected by a magnetic yoke (3), where a coil (4) is provided on the yoke. Terminals (5, 6) of the coil are attached to a voltage source (8) by a switch (7). Magnetic shunts (10, 11) are attached to one of the magnetic pole plates, where the plates have equal or different magnetization. Another magnetic shunt (12) is made of a ferromagnetic material, arranged between the plates and connected with the magnetic yoke, where the plates have inhomogeneous field distribution over its surface.
