<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine having a catalyst regeneration-type exhaust gas purification device, capable of appropriately suppressing oil dilution upon regeneration treatment. <P>SOLUTION: An engine system 1 is provided with a pressure detection means, a temperature detecting means, an intake air amount regulating means, and a fuel injection control means, so that fuel supplied to the exhaust gas purification device 30 is appropriately evaporated in a cylinder to suppress that the injection fuel adheres in the cylinder.
