PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine in which movement of a game ball is allowed by opening a prize winning port upon winning in a winning/losing lottery and a player can keep interest in a game ball after the movement of the game ball to an area wherein prize balls are paid out by the moved game ball. SOLUTION: In the pinball game machine, only when winning in a winning/losing lottery triggered by prize winning of a game ball into a prize winning port, the game is moved from an normal game state to a special game state. The pinball game machine includes; a first area 61 including a shooting port and a starting prize winning port; a second area 62 not including those, a communication passage 57 communicating between both areas 61 and 62; and a movable member 80 which is set at a closing position in the normal game state to prohibit movement of a game ball to the second area 62, and set at an opening position in the special game state to allow movement of a game ball to the second area 62. In the second area 62, a game ball detection sensor to detect a game ball moved to the second game area 62 to transmit a signal of the purport to a main controller to carry out a prize ball pay-out processing and a movable accessory to give variation to behavior of the game ball moved to the second area 62 are set.
