<p>Disclosed is a glasses device for aiding in the viewing of a video meant to be perceived three-dimensionally. Said glasses device is provided with: an optical filter unit which has a left-eye filter that adjusts the amount of light transmitted to the left eye and a right-eye filter that adjusts the amount of light transmitted to the right eye; and a control unit which controls the aforementioned light regulation of the optical filter unit. The control unit switches between two control modes for control of the optical filter unit. In the first control mode, the control unit controls the optical filter unit so as to synchronize with the display of the frame images that constitute the aforementioned video. The second control mode makes the viewer aware of the aforementioned light regulation of the optical filter unit, which is made slower than the frame rate of the video and not synchronized with the display of the frame images.</p>
