THIN-WALLED REINFORCED HOUSING

摘要

The present invention concerns different fields of technique where prestressed housings are used consisting of thin-walled shells and longitudinal and/or transversal reinforcing elements. It can be used in aircraft building, arrangement of caisson in bridge engineering and at last in the novel branch - of underwater biorobotics, particularly in fish-robots. The aim of proposed invention is simplification of fabrication method, reliability growth and decreasing of frame weight. The mentioned aim is achieved by manufacturing of reinforced set in the form of metallic spiral spring with initial diameter greater than inner diameter of shell. Distance between end points of spiral turn in unexpanded condition is greater than shell length. The spring is placed inside of frame in expanded condition, and in this condition the free ends of spring are closed on docking rings of frame with possibility of imparting of tension forces on them.
