<p>Self-ventilated brake disc, in particular for vehicles, formed by a single-piece body with a circular friction crown (2) and a cube that transmits the torque to the assembly. The circular crown (2) includes a plurality of slots (4) arranged radially with respect to the centre of the disc. Each slot (4) has at least one bridge-like portion (6), the outer surface of which is coplanar with the remainder of the friction surface. In this way, brake-pad wear at the edges of the slots (4) is reduced, good dissipation of the heat generated by friction is guaranteed and it is possible to mould the disc without the need for cores.</p> |
