PURPOSE: An antenna for a portable terminal and the portable terminal with the same are provided to comprise a printed circuit board and a metallic radiator pattern, thereby enabling small and slim manufacturing. CONSTITUTION: An antenna for a portable terminal includes a first antenna unit(100), a second antenna unit(200), and a combining means(300). A second antenna unit is combined in one side of the first antenna unit. The combining means is combined in a lower surface of the first antenna unit. The first antenna unit is formed in a length direction with a predetermined length and mounted in the portable terminal. The second antenna unit is formed with a metal material, combined in the one side of the first antenna unit. One side of the combining means is combined with a portable terminal case and other side is combined with the lower surface of the first antenna unit.
