<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate printing data that makes ways to generate dots in end printing and ordinary printing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing system, when the same printing method is carried out between upper end printing and ordinary printing, a difference between the position of a nozzle train during certain image forming operation in virtual printing and the position of a nozzle train during certain image forming operation in actual printing is calculated, wherein in the virtual printing, an upper end is printed in the ordinary printing and the position of the nozzle train during first image forming operation in the ordinary printing is made to reach a predetermined position, and wherein in the actual printing, the upper end is printed in the upper end printing and the position of the nozzle train during the first image forming operation is made to reach the predetermined position. The difference is added to the range of the nozzle used during certain image forming operation in the virtual printing, thereby calculating the range of the nozzle used during certain image forming operation in the actual printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
