PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water skin cosmetic which, when applied to the skin which is wet, for example, after bathing, can offer good spread and good skin affinity to the entire body, can attain high wetness feeling and good moisture retention even after the skin is wiped dry with a towel, and can offer high slipperiness feeling after the skin is dried. SOLUTION: There is disclosed an oil-in-water skin cosmetic containing at least (A) an oil, (B) a hydrocarbon oil, (C) isostearic acid, and (D) a nonionic surfactant, wherein component (A) is at least any one of phytosteryl isostearate, shea butter, and diisostearyl malate, the content of component (B) is 5-20 mass%, the HLB of component (D) is 10-16, the mass ratio (A)/(B) of component (A) to component (B) is 0.1-1.0, and the mass ratio [(A)+(B)]/(C) of the total content of component (A) and component (B) to the content of component (C) is 1.3-13.0.
