<p>PURPOSE: A battery pack is provided to enable easy thermal protection since a terminal for thermal protection is unnecessary in battery protection IC. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack(10) equipped with a temperature switch IC comprises a charge control FET and discharge control FET which are serially installed in the charge/discharge path of a battery; a temperature switch IC(12) flowing in the output current when an abnormal temperature is detected; a first resistance(16,17) generating voltage based on the output current; a transistor for making the charge control FET off by the voltage generated from the first resistance; and a battery protection IC(11) controlling the charge control FET and discharge control FET by monitoring the charged state of the battery.</p> |
