PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic polyester resin composition excellent in flame retardancy, glow wire characteristics and low warping properties. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic polyester resin composition contains: 100 pts.wt. of a mixed resin comprising 95-50 wt.% of a polyalkylene terephthalate resin and 5-50 wt.% of an aromatic polycarbonate resin having a viscosity average molecular weight of≥5,000; 9-60 pts.wt. of at least one phosphinate which is a calcium salt or aluminum salt whose anionic moiety is phosphinic acid represented by formula (1) or (2); 0.01-0.8 pt.wt. of an organophosphorus stabilizer; 0.5-20 pts.wt. of an organosiloxane polymer in which≥40 mol% of organic groups bonding to silicon atoms directly or by way of oxygen atoms are aryl groups and which is solid at 25°C; and 30-150 pts.wt. of a reinforcing filler, wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>5</SP>-R<SP>7</SP>are 1-6C alkyl or aryl; R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are 1-10C alkylene, arylene or a group comprising a combination of these two or more; and n is an integer of 0-4.
