PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head position adjusting means which can adjust positional relations of a plurality of head holders holding a plurality of recording heads to a carriage carrying the head holders, in which even when the head holders is elevated and descended to the carriage, the positions in the horizontal direction can be held, and by always energizing the head position adjusting means, the positional shifts of the recording heads caused by backlash of the head position adjusting means are prevented, and abrasion of the head position adjusting means caused by repeated elevation and descending of the recording heads can be prevented. SOLUTION: An intermediate member 91 is provided between an abutting part 84c of the head holder 27 and the head position adjusting means 90A, and the intermediate member 91 is made to be a sheet spring for always energizing the head position adjusting means 90A.
