PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine performing turndown operation with low emission by a simple system while ensuring reliability of the gas turbine. SOLUTION: This gas turbine 1 includes: a compressor 2 compressing air used for combustion; a combustion section 3 injecting fuel to the compressed air in order to perform combustion and generating high-temperature combustion gas; a turbine section 4 rotatively driven by the combustion gas; and a moving blade cooling system 6 bleeding a part of the compressed air as cooling air and introducing the cooling air to the insides of moving blades belonging to a plurality of stages composing the turbine section 4. The moving blade cooling system 6 is provided with an adjustment section 63 adjusting the flow rate of the cooling air flowing in the inside. The flow rate of the cooling air flowing in the moving blade cooling system 6 during operation at a load lower than the full load is higher than the flow rate of the cooling air during operation at the full load.
