PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening restriction device adaptable to door bodies with different door thicknesses in a hinged door device having an openably swingable door body in an opening. SOLUTION: A door body side fixed member 8 constituting the opening restriction device S is constituted of a pair of inner and outer L-shaped members 9, 10 with first and second leg pieces 9a, 9b, 10a, 10b, respectively. The leg pieces 9a, 10a on one side are made to abut on the upper side inner and outer surfaces 4c, 4e of the door body 4, respectively, and the leg pieces 9b, 10b on the other side are vertically stacked on the upper end surface 4d of the door body and fixed to the door body 4 using door body fixing screws 11.
