PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel carrying device in a relatively simple constitution, which automatically changes a type of a device. SOLUTION: A vessel supply mechanism 10 carries a barrel B by rotating a first carrying wheel 12 while guiding the barrel B taken in a pocket 12a of the first carrying wheel 12 by a guide 14. A carrying conveyor 3 faster in a carrying speed than the rotating speed of the first carrying wheel 12 is arranged on the upstream side of a vessel supply device 10. The vessel supply mechanism 10 includes a second carrying wheel 13 arranged so as to be movable between the projecting position P1 where a curved surface S2 projecting in the pocket 12a and a retreat position P2 where the curved surface S2 retreats outside the pocket 12a, and a position switching mechanism 16 capable of maintaining the second carrying wheel 13 in the projecting position P1 until predetermined release torque acts. The second carrying wheel 13 is provided with blade parts 15 projecting in the inverse direction of the rotating direction of the first carrying wheel 12 further than the first carrying wheel 12 when the second carrying wheel 13 exists in the retreat position P2.
