<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sequence of a nucleic acid oligonucleotide for amplifying the different portions of the gag and pol genes of HIV-1 and for detecting the amplified nucleic acid sequence. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the method for amplifying the HIV-1 gene, comprising amplifying HIV-1 nucleic acid in a biological sample by using an amplification oligonucleotide probe specific to gag and pol target sequences and then detecting it; and the method wherein the nucleic acid main chain of the probe contains one or more 2'-methoxy linkages, peptide nucleic acid linkages, phosphorothioate linkages, methylphosphonate linkages or their combinations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
