Washer dryer with heat pump

The dryer has a heat pump device circulating a refrigerant in a line system by an evaporator of a heat exchanger (15) in a refrigerant cycle. Air dried by a processing air blower (9) is supplied over an air intake of a drum in a closed processing air cycle and discharged from a processing air module via an air discharge opening (7). A compressor (14) is gas-tightly surrounded by a cap housing (13). A motor (10) is arranged outside the compressor, and drives the drum. The air blower transfers driving power from the cap housing to the compressor.
