The construction unit has a surface (5) and internal pressure voltages. Internal voltages from different pressure points are generated and measured. A higher mechanical stress, close to the surface produces a higher voltage. The construction unit has partly a curved surface and sensors are fixed within the curved surfaces. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method and apparatus for producing internal compressive stresses
