PURPOSE: A harmful video detecting apparatus and a method thereof are provided to classify and seclude harmful multimedia services on a realtime basis. CONSTITUTION: A harmful skin detector(30) extracts a skin area from an extracted frame. A harmfulness determining unit(40) finally decides the degree of harmfulness with a harmfulness classifying model learner(90). A video harmfulness feature extractor(50) creates a feature value from a harmfulness arrangement. A dissimilarity-based classifier(60) measures the degree of dissimilarity. A harmful information secluding unit(70) secludes a service if the harmfulness grade belongs to a predetermined reference harmfulness grade. |
