<p>The present invention belongs to the field of pharmaceutical industry and relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising one or more cores, an enteric coating and a non-acidic protective coating between the core and the enteric coating comprising polymorphic pravastatin sodium. Furthermore, the present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising one or more cores comprising pravastatin sodium and specific excipients, and to a process for the preparation of said cores. Moreover, the present invention relates to a dosage form comprising said pharmaceutical compositions and to the use of said dosage form for the prevention or treatment of hypercholesterolemia and hyperlipidemia.</p> |
