PURPOSE: A plate type heat exchanger is provided to have precise quality by keeping regularly the coupling location or the coupling state between two plates assembled temporarily by facing each other before brazing. CONSTITUTION: A plate type heat exchanger includes plural heat exchange units piled in the vertical direction, wherein each heat exchange unit comprises an upper plate and a lower plate, wherein a temporary assembly groove(72) and a temporary assembly flange are formed on the corresponding edges of the upper plate and the lower plate, and the temporary assembly flange is foldable toward the temporary assembly groove.
