PURPOSE: An ammonium borate compound is provided to improve the solubility to a polymerization solvent as a co-catalyst used with a metallocene catalyst in the polymerization of polyolefin and to efficiently prepare olefin-based copolymers. CONSTITUTION: An ammonium borate compound is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, B is boron; n is 2-20; R^1, R^2, R^3 and R^4 are selected from the group consisting of C1-30 linear or branched alkyl, C1-30 linear or branched alkoxy, C3-30 linear or branched allyl, C2-30 linear or branched alkenyl, C2-30 linear or branched vinyl, substituted or unsubstituted C3-20 cycloalkyl, substituted or unsubstituted C6-40 aryl, substituted or unsubstituted C7-15 aralkyl, and hydrocarbon-substituted or unsubstituted C7-15 alkylaryl.
