PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven linear actuator capable of coping with a request for size reduction. SOLUTION: The motor-driven linear actuator includes a housing, a motor held by the housing, a nut member matched in an axial direction with that of the motor, and held rotatably with respect to the housing, a rod shaft having a screw part screwed with the nut member, and a cylindrical part provided in both ends of the screw part and penetrated through the housing, a pair of bearing bushes stored in the housing and for supporting the cylindrical part of the rod shaft, a pair of seal members stored in the housing and slide-contacting with an outer circumferential face of the cylindrical part of the rod shaft, and a rotation transmission mechanism for transmitting rotation of an output shaft of the motor to the nut member.
