<p>A method is provided for decluttering a mapping display. A decluttering manager causes, at least in part, rendering of a plurality of points of interest (601, 603) on a mapping display of a user device based on location information associated with each of the points of interest. The decluttering manager receives an input, from the device, for selecting a group of the points of interest (601, 621 ) on the mapping display and captures an image of the mapping display based on the input. The decluttering manager then causes, at least in part, display of the selected group of the points of interest as an overlay on the captured image (640). The method can be used in augmented reality navigation applications on mobile phones.</p> |
