Conventional devices have not been designed to fully assist operation by the user when the user is not in a normal state. Disclosed is a photographing lens provided with a first biological detection device capable of detecting variations in biological information about the photographer. Also disclosed is a photographing device provided with: a retaining unit; an operating unit for photographic operation; and a second biological detection device provided to either the retaining unit or the operating unit, or both, and capable of detecting variations in biological information about the photographer.
