PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting apparatus applicable to various recording media in addition to be simple in configuration in the case of forming braille or the like on the recording medium. SOLUTION: The liquid jetting apparatus includes a conveying part 1 conveying the recording medium P; a liquid jetting head 2 disposed upstream of the conveying part 1 and above the conveying part 1; and a liquid jetting head 3 disposed downstream of the conveying part 1 and above the conveying part 1. The liquid jetting head 2 has a nozzle and jets ink drops on the recording medium P from the nozzle to print characters, images, or the like on the recording medium P with the ink drops. The liquid jetting head 3 has a nozzle and jets, from the nozzle, liquid (such as mercury) of preferably high specific gravity without being absorbed by the recording medium P, and the jetted liquid plastically deforms the surface of the recording medium P with the force colliding with the recording medium P to form a recess.
