PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message transmission server, and a method and program for easily and reliably deliver a living will of a deceased whose death has been confirmed, to a specific person. SOLUTION: A transmission server 1 is configured to transmit a registered message received from a registrant terminal 2 to a recipient terminal 6 on the basis of a transmission request received from a bereaved family terminal 4. The transmission server 1 is provided with: a registered message storage part for storing a registered message received from the registrant terminal 2; a distribution part for distributing advance mail to the registrant terminal 2; a distribution status storage part for storing the distribution status of the advance mail to the registrant terminal 2; a transmission request reception part for receiving a transmission request from the bereaved family terminal 4; and a registered message transmission part for transmitting the registered message stored in the registered message storage part to the recipient terminal 6. When receiving the transmission request, the registered message transmission part determines whether to transmit the registered message to the recipient terminal 6 by referring to the distribution status stored in the distribution status storage part.
