The generator has P-type and N-type elements that are arranged into upper stage for temperatures to 400[deg] C and into lower level for temperatures of 20-250[deg] C. The electrical and heat conducting metal and semiconductor wafer (17) are provided with incorporated contactable layers (2) in metallized area. The elements are provided at warm and cold side of generator stand (1) over electrical and heat conducting metal bridges (3). The intermediate layer (8,30) is provided with thickness of about 3 mm and semiconductor wafers (17) is provided with thickness of about 5 mm. An independent claim is included for method of manufacture of thermoelectric generator.
