PURPOSE: A fuel cell system is provided to prevent HEAT LOAD from being weighted, to maintain the composition of gas provided to a stack, and to lower unit cost of a fuel cell. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cell system includes: a stack(100) including an anode part(110) and a cathode part(120); a fuel feeder(200) supplying the fuel to the anode part; an oxidant feeder(700) supplying oxidizers to the cathode part; a catalyst combustor(400) connected to the anode part; a sub-combustor(500) connected to the catalytic combustors; a first sensor(10) sensing a rate of fuel in exhaust gas; a bypass unit(600) which selectively flows in exhaust gas according to the rate of fuel sensed from the first sensor; and a control unit controlling the bypass unit according to the rate of fuel sensed from the first sensor.
