(METH)ACRYLATE COMPOUND, POLYMER INCLUDING REPEATING UNIT DERIVED THEREFROM, AND PROTECTIVE LAYER COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A polymer containing a repetitive unit induced from a novel (meth)acrylate compound is provided to enhance contact angle with water and to prevent leakage of water. CONSTITUTION: A (meth)acryalte compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1 is hydrogen, methyl group, or trifluoromethyl group; and X and Y are independently linear or branched alkylene group or cyclo alkylene group. A polymer contains a repetitive unit of chemical formula 4 induced from the (meth)acrylate compound. The polymer contains 50-99 mole% of hydroxy-containing hexafluoroalkyloxysilyl group. A composition for forming a protective film contains 1-20 weight parts of polymer.
