PURPOSE: A moisture removal device of a vehicle and an operating method thereof are provided to operate an air conditioner of a vehicle automatically in a moisture removal mode by predicting the formation of moisture or frost on the front glass of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A moisture removal device(100) of a vehicle comprises a sensor unit(10) measuring and outputting humidity(H), external temperature(T1) and glass temperature(T2) respectively, a dew point temperature output unit(20) outputting dew point temperature(T3) from the measured humidity and external temperature, a judgment unit(30) forming and outputting a control signal(CNT) to control the action of a control unit using the dew point temperature outputted from the dew point temperature output unit and the glass temperature outputted from the second temperature sensor; and a control unit(40) controlling the action of an air conditioner control unit(41), a blower control unit(43), an inside/outside air control unit(45) and a defrost control unit(47) according to the control signal outputted from the judgment unit.
