COMPOSITION FOR ALALGESIC COMPRISING AN EXTRACT OF ARALIA CORDATA

PURPOSE: An analgesic composition containing Aralia cordata T. leaf extract is provided to prevent side effects of gastrointestinal disturgance, allergy, and hepatotoxicity. CONSTITUTION: An analgesic composition contains Aralia cordata T. leaf extract as an active ingredient, prepared using water or alcohol solvent of 1-4 carbon atoms. The Aralia cordata T. leaf extract is prepared by isolating with 10-95%(v/v) ethanol. A food composition for treating pain contains the analgesic composition. A method for manufacturing the analgesic composition comprises: a step of preparing dried Aralia cordata T. leaves; a step of isolating water and alcohol solvent of 1-4 carbon atoms; and a step of extracting at 50-100°C for 1-10 hours.
