<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure structural soundness of a heat exchanger by taking advantage of a new thermal stress reduction structure different from a conventional thermal sleeve structure, and dealing with an even higher-pressure and higher-temperature condition of steam. <P>SOLUTION: The heat exchanger includes: a shell 1; a tube plate 2 provided at an end part of the shell 1; a plurality of heat transfer tubes 3 supported by the tube plate 2 and housed in the shell 1; and a high-temperature fluid inlet connection 4 for introducing a high-temperature fluid into the shell 1. A cooling jacket 6 having a porous structure is provided on the interior surface of the high-temperature fluid inlet connection 4, wherein a cooling fluid is spread over the cooling jacket 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
