PURPOSE: Glass panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the breakage and the delamination of the glass panel by forming an inclined part at the frame part of plate glass and fixing the plate glass. CONSTITUTION: A glass panel(100) includes two plate glasses(110a, 110b) and a sealing material(120). An inclined part is arranged at the frame part of one plate glass. The sealing material is attached to the plate glass including the frame part. A method for manufacturing the glass panel includes the same. The sealing material is applied to one plate glass. Other plate glass with inclined part is stacked to the plate glass. The stacked plate glasses thermally treated to be welded by the sealing material.
