PURPOSE: An electrophoretic light converting particle of a display device is provided to improve permeability and reflection efficiency by not using a color filter layer. CONSTITUTION: A core(132) absorbs a light wavelength area and emits light after converting the light into a wavelength of a visible light area. A shell(134) protects the surface of a core. A charger(136c) is arranged in the utmost outer part of an optical conversion particle(130). The charger comprises a -NH2 terminal group or a -COOH terminal group. An anchoring unit(136a) is attached to the surface of a shell. A spacer is located between the anchoring unit and the charger.
