PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle stabilizing device for prohibiting the execution of braking control of an owned vehicle based on an uncertain and less-reliable operation signal from a driver when the owned vehicle collides. SOLUTION: The vehicle stabilizing device includes a target state quantity computing means calculating the target state quantity of the own vehicle in accordance with sensor information for at least one vehicle stabilizing control sensor, and a braking force imparting means imparting braking force to the own vehicle so that the state quantity of the owned vehicle to be detected by the vehicle stabilizing control sensor is the target state quantity, wherein a collision detecting means is provided detecting whether the own vehicle collides or not and which part of it collides. The braking force imparting means interrupts braking control based on the target state quantity for a predetermined time after detecting the own vehicle collision, and executes predetermined braking control depending on the collision part.
