PURPOSE: A method for preparing vinyl chloride-based resin is provided to improve reaction stability and to shorten reaction time. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing vinyl chloride-based resin for a floor material using emulsion polymerization comprises: a step of inputting vinyl chloride-based resin, water, seeds for polymerization, initiator, and emulsifier into a reactor of high pressure; a step of maintaining reaction temperature at 54+/-1.0 °C and performing without a crosslinking agent to prepare a polyvinyl chloride latex; and a step of drying the latex.
