PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a frozen peeled mandarin orange.

SOLUTION: The method for producing a frozen mandarin orange includes: rinsing and dewatering an unpeeled mandarin orange which is harvested in October to January followed by freezing the mandarin orange; thawing only the surface of the frozen mandarin orange by an appropriate technique; peeling the frozen mandarin orange; subjecting the peeled frozen mandarin orange to single-item inspection; packaging the frozen mandarin orange; and shipping the packaged frozen mandarin orange.
