PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an image important for a user as an album image. SOLUTION: A controller 104 calculates distribution of the number of captured images in each shooting time to classify the images by sub time zone, and groups the images whose shooting time interval in each shooting time zone are not higher than a predetermined threshold, for each sub-sub time zone. Then, the controller 104 selects one album image from a sub-sub time zone including the most images, for each sub time zone, and displays slide show of the selected album images on a monitor 106.
