<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of: generating power at high output density and a high utilization ratio of a fuel with a simple structure; and preventing deterioration of a fuel electrode and an oxidizer electrode. <P>SOLUTION: Fuel electrode current collectors 80 are each formed in a strip shape in the fuel cell, the long side of the each fuel electrode current collector has a direction equal to a flow direction of a fuel gas supplied/discharged to/from the fuel electrode 29, and the plurality of fuel electrode current collectors 80 are arranged in a short-side direction at designated spacings. The fuel electrode current collector 80 is formed of a metal porous body with an average pore diameter of 0.5-1.5 mm, a ratio R1 of a long-side length of the fuel electrode current collector 80 to a length in the fuel gas flow direction, of the fuel electrode 29, is set to be 0.9≤R1≤1.0, and a ratio R3 of a short-side length of the strip-shaped fuel electrode current collector 80 to the length in the fuel gas flow direction, of the fuel electrode 29, is set to be 0.05≤R3≤0.2. Furthermore, a ratio R4 of the spacing between adjacent fuel electrode current collectors 80 in the short-side direction of the strip-shaped fuel electrode current collector 80 to the length in the fuel gas flow direction, of the fuel electrode 29, is set to be 0.02≤R4≤0.05. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
