摘要 <p>The invention relates to a process for controlling the spherical calottes by examining the reflexion interferogram. According to the invention, the process consists in using a light source (4) of continuous spectrum or a quasi punctiform natural light source which is placed at a distance of at least 0.5 m from a glossy spherical calotte (1) with a diameter ranging between 0.5...20 mm, said calotte having to be examined, the reflexion interferogram which is produced at the interference of the incident light on the calotte surface with the light reflected by the same, being examined visually by approaching the calotte to the eye (2) at a distance of 1...5 cm and by fixing in the visual field the glossy spot of light reflexion, some defects of the calotte surface such as nicks, scratches, cracks, oxide stains could be observed as a consequence of the examination.</p>
