<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer film from which a phase difference film of high quality having suppressed phase difference unevenness can be produced, the phase difference film of high quality having suppressed phase difference unevenness and further a method for producing them. <P>SOLUTION: The multilayer film has a core layer and skin layers respectively arranged on both surfaces of the core layer and is molded by melting extrusion of a molten resin. The number of the linear rugged patterns having breadth of 300 to 1,000μm and height of 10 to 1,000 nm at an interface between the core layer and the skin layer is two or below per 1,400 mm breadth of the multilayer film.
