PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, accurate, and inexpensive method capable of detecting a conductor such as a metal wire which is popped out of a cutting surface of a sheet-like member embedded with the metal wire. SOLUTION: A plurality of electric wires are wound around a conductor detection sensor head at equal distances and a voltage is applied between the plurality of adjacent electric wires. A current does not flow in a normal state, but when the conductor such as the metal wire comes into contact with a portion between the electric wires, the current flows to detect the presence of the popping conductor. The popping wire from the cutting surface of the sheet-like member is detected by bringing a flat sensor head bottom surface of a conductor detection sensor into contact with the cutting surface of the sheet-like member and/or into contact with a conveyor belt before or after the cutting surface of the sheet-like member. The contact and crossing of the electric wires can be prevented by winding the electric wires in a groove formed at a detection sensor head surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
