PURPOSE: A damping structure of an electronic power steering device is provided to reduce rattle noise by improving the vibration absorption efficiency of MDPS against the inverse input load which is input from the wheel side of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A damping structure of an electronic power steering device comprises a main housing(1), a guide bracket(3), a lower mounting bracket(7), and a damping member(9). The main housing is installed in a steering column. The guide bracket is installed to surround the circumference of the main housing in order to surround the output shaft circumference of MDPS. The lower mounting bracket is formed in order to surround the guide bracket from outside. The damping member is inserted between the guide bracket and lower mounting bracket. The damping member absorbs the relative displacement between the lower mounting bracket and the guide bracket.
