PURPOSE: Edge grinding device and method are provided to effectively perform grinding while moving a panel bi-directionally, using a multi-type grinding wheel. CONSTITUTION: An edge grinding device comprises a table(10), a structure(12), a grinding wheel(14) and an un-loader(16). The table holds a panel and moves in a predetermined direction. The structure is installed to cross a moving direction. For the grinding wheel to grind an edge, the grinding wheel is coupled to the structure. The un-loader picks up the ground panel and transfers it to an unloading unit. The un-loader moves to the table and picks up the panel. For the un-loader to move, a part of the structure is split. |
