PURPOSE: A hue and saturation control apparatus and method of a color signal are provided to changeably control at least one of the hue and saturation of a UV color signal with the change of a coefficient value which is applied in the UV color signal conversion. CONSTITUTION: A hue and saturation control apparatus extracts Y luminance and DR,DB color data from image sensor data. The apparatus creates RGB color signals. The apparatus performs a white balance operation. The apparatus changes a RGB color signal into a Y signal and a UV color signal. The apparatus changeably controls at least one of the hue and saturation of the UV color signal with the change of a coefficient value applied in the UV color signal conversion. |
