PURPOSE: A bead lock cover of the tire molding drum is provided to improve work productivity by changeably adjusting a bead lock restricting a bead portion of a green tire in a molding drum of tire with a pneumatic pressure. CONSTITUTION: The bead lock cover(6) of the tire building drum is installed based on a variable center part(2) of a molding drum(1) in its both sides, and includes a bead portion seating groove detaining the green tire bead portion molded on the bead lock. The bead portion seating groove detaining the green tire bead portion molded on this bead lock is included. The bead lock cover is formed in a rubber material and is sealing-installed in the bead lock. The pneumatic pressure is provided between the bead lock cover and the bead lock through a valve for pouring air(7) installed at the molding drum and an air supply nozzle(8) installed at the bead lock. The pneumatic pressure changeably controls a length of the seating groove of the bead lock cover. A length of the seating groove of the bead lock cover supporting the bead portion is controlled, which helps to be corresponded to a bead portion shape of a first case at the molding process. The length of the seating groove of the bead lock cover changes based on the pneumatic pressure and has a natural seating shape by being corresponded to the shape of the bead portion accomplished in the first case. The pneumatic pressure gives is adjustable based on a field test value. According to an amount of the injected air, the seating groove length of the bead lock cover fixing the bead portion changes into W1 - W2 and has a support role of restricting the bead portion to change on the basis of various bead portion shapes.
