FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a complementary peptide having at least a sequence presented in the description and complementary to a primary immunogenic acetylcholine receptor region involved in myasthenia gravis, having at least the sequence SEQ ID NO:1 with tryptophan in position 8 and bearing at least one optionally substituted hydrocarbon group. There is disclosed therapeutic composition for treating myasthenia gravis based on the complementary peptide and applied for preparing a vaccine used in therapeutic and preventive treatment of myasthenia gravis in mammals.
