PURPOSE: A method for receiving a broadcasting service based on community in a terminal is provided for the terminal to receive contents offered in a subscribed community. CONSTITUTION: If a selected channel is a community channel, terminals decide whether the terminal is subscribed in a community(220,222). A terminal belonging to a first community selects a broadcasting channel for the first community. The terminal displays community contents in the selected broadcasting channel(224). If the terminal is not subscribed in the community, the terminal joins in the community(226).
